“Am I a good person? Deep down, do I even really want to be a good person, or do I only want to seem like a good person so that people (including myself) will approve of me? Is there a difference? How do I ever actually know whether I'm bullshitting myself, morally speaking?” ― David Foster Wallace, Consider the Lobster and Other Essays
Hi, I am Khalid and this is my website. I am a technologist, mathematician and architect. I run granck.com a Zettelkasten-based note taking app.
I co-founded the Civics Institute, a think-tank promoting rational quantification of human progress.
This site is a self-debugging and self-constructing metamodern vehicle. My writtings span across a variety of subjects, from statistics to technology.
I draw my biggest inspirations from Baruch Spinoza, Henry David Thoreau, Ludwig Andreas von Feuerbach and Augustine of Hippo.
